Privacy Policy

1. Who handles your data

Ceteris IT LLC, located in Houston, Texas, is responsible for the data handled in Spyniq.

2. What we store about you

As a contractor using the service, we store:

• Account: your email and an encrypted version of your password. We never see your password in plain text.
• Business: name, trade, phone, email, address, city, state, license number, logo, tax rate, and default terms.
• Work: your price list, your quotes with their line items and totals, your notes, and any photos you upload.
• Subscription: your plan, its status, and the identifiers Stripe gives us. Your card details never touch our servers.
• Notifications: if you enable them, the technical address of that device and its browser name.
• Technical: server logs with date, IP address, and browser type, generated automatically by any website.

3. Your customers’ data

When you create a quote you store your customer’s name, phone, email, and address. That information belongs to you and them: we only store it so the app works.

You decide what you collect from your customers and what you use it for. We never write to them, never sell anything to them, and never use their data for our own purposes.

When a customer accepts or declines a quote from the link, we store the name they type and the date. It serves as a record of who responded and when. We do not store their IP address.

4. What we use the data for

Only to:

• Provide the service: create, store, and share your quotes.
• Bill you if you subscribe to a paid plan.
• Notify you when a customer responds, and send account emails such as password recovery.
• Understand in aggregate how the app is used so we can improve it.
• Meet legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Servers in the United States.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Google, Apple, and Mozilla — push notification delivery, if you enable it.

6. Public quote links

Each quote you share generates an address with a random 24-character identifier that cannot be guessed. Anyone holding that link can view the quote and its photos, with no account or password.

Those pages are marked so search engines do not index them, but if the link is forwarded, the information travels with it. Keep that in mind when sharing.

7. Cookies

We use the minimum necessary, and none for advertising or cross-site tracking:

• Session: keeps you signed in between visits.
• Selected plan: remembers which plan you tapped on the pricing page so we do not ask twice. Lasts 30 days.

8. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. When you delete it from Settings, your business, customers, price list, quotes, photos, and logo are permanently removed, and your subscription is cancelled.

We may retain billing records where tax or accounting law requires it.

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. The database enforces row-level rules that prevent one account from reading another’s data, and the files you upload can only be written from your own account.

No system is perfect. If a breach affecting your data occurred, we would notify you.

10. Your rights

You can view and correct most of your data from Settings, and delete everything from the danger zone on that same screen.

If you want a copy of your information or have any request about your data, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Minors

Spyniq is a work tool for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change something material we will notify you by email or in the app. The date above shows the last update.
